surreal landscape
In simple terms surreal landscapes are landscapes that look weird and don't make sesne.

Surreal landscapes are most easily created using an editing tool such as Photoshop.
They display almost fantasy worlds or obscured views of the world around the artist who created them. They don't really make any sense but are fun and interesting to look at.

I created this image by layering two images over each other. the top layer was the person holding the umbrella, while the second was an image of some buildings. I then used a rubber tool over the umbrella of the top image, revealing the building in the image below.
The idea behind this was to show two opposing places (countryside Vs bustling city) through an abstract 'window' (that being the umbrella). |
